Got Questions?
The festival runs from Friday 15 August to Sunday 17 August at City Park, Downtown. Gates open at 11am each day and close at 11pm. The final night (Sunday) will have a special late-night programme running until midnight.
Absolutely! The festival is a family-friendly event. Children under 5 enter free. We have a dedicated Kids Zone with age-appropriate activities, workshops, and performances throughout all three days. Family tickets (2 adults + 2 children) are available at a discounted rate.
General Admission tickets give you access to all main stages, the Global Food Village, cultural exhibitions, outdoor art installations, and the Kids Zone. Some premium workshops and experiences require a separate booking — these will be listed on the programme page closer to the event.
VIP ticket holders receive access to the exclusive VIP Lounge with premium seating, dedicated bar, and gourmet catering. VIP benefits also include priority entry at all gates, backstage tours (bookable separately through your VIP portal), artist meet & greet opportunities, and an exclusive merch bag upon arrival.
Tickets are transferable up to 48 hours before the event via the Showpass platform. Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event date. After that point, tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person. If the event is cancelled or significantly altered, a full refund will be issued automatically.
Yes. The festival is fully wheelchair accessible. We have dedicated accessible viewing platforms at all main stages, accessible toilets throughout the site, quiet zones for those who need a sensory break, and a dedicated accessibility concierge team on-site throughout all three days. Please contact us in advance at access@thefestival.com so we can make any additional arrangements.
You are welcome to bring: sealed water bottles (up to 1L), sunscreen, a small bag or backpack (subject to search), a picnic blanket, comfortable footwear, and a portable phone charger.
Not permitted: outside alcohol, glass containers, professional camera equipment (DSLR/video without press accreditation), chairs (except folding festival chairs in designated zones), umbrellas with pointed tips, or any illegal substances. Full list available on our website.
Limited parking is available at City Park for an additional fee, bookable in advance through the festival website. We strongly encourage attendees to use public transport, rideshare, or cycling. There is a dedicated bike parking area on-site. Shuttle buses will run from major transport hubs throughout the festival weekend — details to be announced 4 weeks prior to the event.
OneWorld is a curated arts programme on a dedicated stage. It runs across all three days of the festival and features a mix of ticketed evening performances and free daytime sessions. Weekend and VIP pass holders have full access to all OneWorld sessions. General admission holders can access open daytime sessions. Evening headline OneWorld performances require a separate OneWorld ticket or Weekend/VIP pass.
